Agreement to Terms

We act as an intermediary between clients and travel service providers. Our role is to facilitate bookings and provide expert guidance.

Booking Terms

Booking Process

When you request a booking through beige-lagoon:

1. We will provide a detailed quotation including all costs
2. You must confirm acceptance in writing (email accepted)
3. A deposit or full payment is required to secure bookings
4. We will issue confirmation once payment is received and suppliers confirm availability

Pricing

All prices quoted:

• Are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated
• Are subject to availability at the time of booking
• May change if suppliers alter their rates
• Include our service fees where applicable
• Are accurate at the time of quotation but may be subject to change until confirmed

Payment Terms

Payment schedules vary by booking type:

• Domestic travel: 25% deposit, balance due 30 days before departure
• European travel: 30% deposit, balance due 45 days before departure
• Worldwide travel: 35% deposit, balance due 60 days before departure
• Last-minute bookings: Full payment required immediately

Failure to make payments by due dates may result in booking cancellation and loss of deposit.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms depend on supplier policies and timing:

• More than 60 days before departure: Deposit may be non-refundable; remainder refunded minus administrative fees
• 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost forfeited
• 15-30 days before departure: 75% of total cost forfeited
• Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total cost forfeited

Supplier-specific cancellation policies may be more restrictive and will be communicated at time of booking.

Amendments

Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to:

• Supplier availability and amendment policies
• Administrative fees charged by beige-lagoon
• Any price differences between original and amended bookings
• Closer to departure dates, amendments become more difficult and expensive

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information for all travellers
• Ensuring all travel documents (passports, visas) are valid and obtained
• Obtaining required vaccinations and health documentation
• Arriving at departure points with adequate time
• Complying with supplier terms and conditions
• Disclosing any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements
• Obtaining appropriate travel insurance

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Trip cancellation and interruption
• Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
• Lost or delayed baggage
• Personal liability

beige-lagoon is not responsible for losses that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance.

Liability Limitations

Service Provider Responsibility

beige-lagoon acts as an agent arranging services provided by third parties (airlines, hotels, tour operators). We are not responsible for:

• Acts or omissions of service providers
• Delays, cancellations, or changes by suppliers
• Quality of accommodation, meals, or activities provided by third parties
• Personal injury, illness, or death caused by third parties
• Loss or damage to property

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics
• War, terrorism, civil unrest
• Government actions, travel restrictions
• Strikes, industrial action
• Supplier bankruptcy or cessation of trading

Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid to us for the affected booking, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Acceptable Use

When using our website, you must not:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Transmit any harmful code or malware
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without permission
• Use automated systems to access the site excessively

Privacy and Data Protection

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Severability
